I am proud to be a trustee of this group that helps provide for children in our school district with programs like Food 4 Thought that provides breakfast for children in need, Memorial Grants that allows lower income families to apply for grants for spring and summer extra curricular programs.
The foundation also allows groups like Motorola Foundation to donate to our schools to provide programs to promote science and engineering as extra curricular activities open to all children in the school district.
The District 54 Education Foundation is partnering with Riccardo’s Restaurant, 1170 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, for a fundraiser next month. On Wednesday, March 7, present the event flyer or mention the Foundation when placing a dine-in or carryout order at Riccardo’s and 25 percent of your bill will go to the D54 Foundation.
